What is Maryville Moms? Or is it more appropriate to ask who are Maryville Moms?
Maryville Moms is nearly impossible to define because we’re constantly evolving. I’m devoting some time to cleaning house on the website; changing categories, updating the about us page, and tailoring the page to suit the current state of Maryville Moms.
By the way, Maryville Moms is not limited to moms. We’re a women’s group consisting mostly of moms, but not comprised entirely of females with legal obligations to care for tykes. Our one rule is this: no dudes allowed. Sorry stay-at-home dads. I’ll help you with a website if you want to start your own group.
What do we do?
- Wednesday night: Join us for Bible study and discussion at Maryville Vineyard on most Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Maryville Vineyard Church located at 713 William Blount Drive. Meetings for this group resumes September 28. For questions, details, or comments, use the form below to send us an email. This group is led by the one and only Becky Carlyle.
- Friday morning: We meet for Bible study each Friday from 9:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Childcare is available, but limited. We’re currently studying the book of Revelation. This is more than your typical study; we’re sorting through life together. Join us in an authentic and casual environment as we study scripture and encourage each other through the trenches of womanhood. The children are nurtured in age appropriate rooms. Children ages 3 & up are engaged in Bible stories and lessons designed just for preschoolers. R.S.V.P. required for childcare.
- Girls’ Night Out: Join us the first weekend of each month for girls’ night out. We’ll meet mostly on Friday or Saturday nights at a local restaurant minus the kids for some much-needed relaxation.
- Preschool Enrichment: Designed for children ages 2-4, join us for Bible stories, songs, crafts, and enrichment activities. Moms are encouraged to participate with the tykes. R.S.V.P. is required to ensure adequate resources are available.
